I was adopted from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa on March 4, 1999.   My parents wanted to add another dog to the family, and they liked me right away!   I thought they were nice, too.

This is me not long after I was adopted.  I was so little I could sleep in a box next to my parents' bed!   Now that I'm a big girl, I sleep right on the bed with them!

They brought my big sister Dakota into the Rescue League to meet me and make sure we would get along OK before the adoption was final.  She wasn't sure what to think of me, but everyone knew it would be OK!  I thought Kote was really cool.

I  took the long ride home to the farm that would become my home, and I've been happy there ever since!
